Move Consciously.
Travel Deeply.
Live Aligned.
Eva & The Planet exists for women who are done with rushing, consuming, and performing and ready to experience travel and life in a way that feels grounded, meaningful, and fully their own.

Meet Eva
I’m originally from Germany and grew up in an eco-conscious household. I’ve always loved animals and grew up with cats, dogs, and two horses. I became vegetarian in 2013 and have been vegan since 2015.
Before I founded Eva & the Planet, I spent ten years working in finance and accounting. On paper, my life looked perfect. I had a high-paying job, a beautiful apartment, and people admired my drive. But I had no purpose.
After my first trip to Thailand in 2014, I instantly knew what I was missing in my life. Even after taking a gap year in 2017, that feeling became so much clearer.

It took me three more years to finally say, I’m done.
It took me three more years to finally say, I’m done.
I packed up my life, put everything into storage, and booked a one-way ticket to Thailand.
Since then, I’ve called Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and now Sri Lanka my home.
Sri Lanka is the one place that completely took my breath away. The landscapes are unbelievably diverse, the wildlife is phenomenal, and the overall energy of this place made me fall deeply in love.
It had such an impact on me that after years of nomad life, that I decided to create my home base here and I couldn’t be happier. I live a slow life, close to nature, and far away from the rush I still remember from my life back in Berlin.
Over time, I’ve built close relationships with the local guides, families, and small community projects we visit on my trips. These beautiful connections are the reason why I design trips and retreats the way I do: slow, intentional, and community-driven.
My passion for ethical travel, sustainability, and meaningful experiences comes from witnessing the massive change in the travel industry the past 12 years towards performative, consumption and social media driven travel.
I want women to experience travel in a way that feels good for themselves, for the planet, and for the people they meet along the way.
My trips and retreats are my way of sharing the Sri Lanka I fell madly in love with. The hidden places, the genuine moments, and the magic that stays with you long after you leave.

What I stand for
Eva & The Planet is built on a foundation of values that guide every decision, every experience, and every interaction.
Eva & The Planet is built on a foundation of values that guide every decision, every experience, and every interaction.
Integrity
Integrity is the backbone of everything I do. This means making decisions rooted in ethical responsibility, even when they are not the easiest or most profitable ones.
I stand for:
Human and animal rights
Local-first collaboration
Anti-exploitative travel
Cultural respect over convenience Integrity means we do not extract, we contribute.
Authenticity
I show up as my true self, online and offline.
No performative spirituality, no curated “perfect life” narratives. No pretending to have it all figured out. Authenticity means speaking uncomfortable truths about tourism, gentrification, and misalignment, even if it goes against trends.
My brand is built on real lived experience, not aesthetics.
Conscious Freedom
I believe freedom is not about escaping responsibilities.
It’s about designing a life that feels aligned, financially, emotionally, and geographically, without harming others in the process.
Freedom without integrity is extraction and exploitation. Freedom with integrity is conscious living.
Community & Belonging
I believe in shared spaces that feel safe, grounded, and real. Small groups, Honest conversations, Local voices at the center.
I build experiences where women feel seen, supported, and connected, not just to each other, but to the places they visit.
Courage
It takes courage to question the life you’ve built. It takes courage to leave a “perfect on paper” life. It takes courage to speak about uncomfortable truths in travel.
I value bold, intentional opinions and discussions.

Depth
I value depth over speed. I reject checklist tourism and surface-level transformation promises.
Instead, I create space for:
Presence, Meaningful conversations, Cultural exchange and not consuming a country, Emotional reflection
