Wild & Alive

Ethical, community-rooted, plant-based first travel

This isn’t just another Sri Lanka trip.

You’ve seen them all online. The same itinerary, rushing from one Instagram hotspot to the next. Barely any time to breathe, and to actually soak it all in. It’s missing soul and depth.

But you’ve been craving something raw, something that wakes you up and makes you feel fully alive again.

If you’re completely honest with yourself…you’ve been so stressed lately. Stuck in your daily life and routines.

You miss the feeling of salt on your skin, your hair wild in the wind, laughter with soul sisters that make your belly hurt.

You want to travel with meaning, to have community with women who feel real, and who love depth just as much as you do.

You want to come home with the feeling of “that trip changed my life forever”.

But that kind of travel is hard to find these days. Researching, planning, wondering if your presence is helping or harming the communities. You’re tired of feeling like the only one who cares about their impact when traveling.

That’s exactly why this trip exists.

All you need is to book that flight and join this off-the-beaten-path adventure through Sri Lanka’s wild beauty, so you can reconnect with nature, meet the people who call Sri Lanka home, and bond deeply with the women you travel with.

Over 11 incredible days, you’ll kayak at sunset through still lagoons that feel like meditation on water, observe elephants ethically roaming wild and free, and visit a family-run weaving collective that’s been empowering women for generations.

You’ll stay on an ethical working tea estate in the cool, misty highlands, sleep under the stars at a jungle eco-lodge, and cook traditional meals using ingredients straight from the organic farm.

Along the way, you’ll experience authentic local life by wandering through a colorful traditional market and learning about indigenous farming with Naveen on his family’s land.

It’s a love letter to the wild.

So, if your heart is already saying yes, it’s time to go!

Why Sri Lanka Feels Like Nowhere Else on Earth

The nature here is so raw and beautiful it might bring tears to your eyes.

It’s where monkeys swing through the trees, peacocks cross the road like they own it, and elephants still roam free.

Sri Lanka might be the only country so small, yet so incredibly diverse that in one trip, you’ll experience it all.

From the hot and humid coastlines to the cool, misty hill country surrounded by endless tea plantations to jungles so alive, they will leave you speechless.

It’s wild, chaotic, warm-hearted and so colorful.

And once you’ve seen it all, you’ll never forget how it made you feel.

Hi I am Eva, Southeast Asia Expert.

I’ve called Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam home over the past three years but Sri Lanka is the one place that completely took my breath away which is why I moved here in September 2025.

When I spent three months here in 2023, I instantly knew this island was different. The landscapes are unbelievably diverse, the wildlife is phenomenal, and the overall energy of this place made me fall deeply in love.

Eva walking along the beach at sunset during her travels.
Eva visiting a local market and connecting with community members during her travels.

Over time, I’ve built close relationships with the local guides, families, and small community projects we visit on this trip. People like Naveen, who introduced me to indigenous farming on his family’s land, or Siri, who takes us through the bustling local market both welcomed me with so much warmth.

These beautiful connections are the reason why I design trips the way I do: slow, intentional, and community-driven.

My passion for ethical travel, and meaningful experiences comes from how I live. Close to nature, conscious, and far away from the rush I still remember from my life back in Germany.

I want women to experience travel in a way that feels good for themselves, for the planet, and for the people they meet along the way.

This group trip is my way of sharing the Sri Lanka I fell madly in love with. The hidden places, the genuine moments, and the magic that stays with you long after you leave.

Eva smiling while exploring a vibrant city at night.

Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Sri Lanka

The moment you arrive in Negombo everything slows down.  You’ll check-in to our beautiful beach hotel and the afternoon is yours to relax, unwind, and recover from your journey. As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather for our first Sri Lankan sunset drinking coconuts, feet in the sand, watching the sky turn pink over the Indian Ocean. Dinner will be served at a locally owned restaurant giving you a first taste of Sri Lanka’s rich flavors and the warm hospitality this country is known for. Meals included: Dinner Location: Negombo

Day 2 Traditional Weaving & The Journey South

After a delicious breakfast, we begin our drive toward Sri Lanka’s lush south coast. On the way, we’ll stop at a family-owned weaving factory that has been employing and empowering women for decades. Here, you’ll see how traditional techniques are used to produce sustainable fabrics and learn about the impact of fair, long-term employment on local families. After a tour and a delicious home-cooked lunch in Ahangama, we continue our journey to Hiriketiya, a small beach town surrounded by the most beautiful beaches Sri Lanka has to offer. In the evening, we’ll stroll along Dickwella Beach, one of the most amazing beaches in all of Sri Lanka, enjoy sunset views, and share a beautiful dinner at one of my favourite local restaurants.  Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Location: Hiriketiya
